Tales of new builder of Wooden Fishing Boat
Follow the trials and tribulations of BBW's founders as they re-invent how to build a classic wooden fishing boat.
Entry for January 5, 2007 - Bye 2006 - Hello 2007

Welcome to Blacksheep Boat Works Ltd Blog.  With this Blog, John Casari, Paul Wickett and Joe Casari (the founders of BBW) will share our experiences in re-inventing how classic wooden boats are built.  To start, I (Paul) would like to give a quick overview of BBW's 2006.

Last year both the Casari's and Paul lost their fathers.  Both fathers loved to fished and make things from wood.  Their spirit and passion for fishing and woodmaking will inspire BBW products always. Thankfully,  our fathers instilled in us a strong work ethic and a will to flourish in trying times.

In 2006, BBW finally recieved Coast Guard approval for our first product ... the 18 footer. This paves the way for this boat to be sold and the construction of the next generation of this boat.  Details on the improvements to this next boat will be outlined in this blog.

Enough of 2006.  We are psyched for 2007.  Besides the next generation of our 18 footer, we have started the development of 2 next exciting complimentary products.  As with our first product, you the protential user and customer will be involved in the development of these product.  More on those products later.

In closing, we hope you join us on our journey to build great fishing boats so you can build great fishing memories.

Completing the final improvement changes for the C0003 hull, includes refinements of the coast guard package, cast skeg, lift strakes, and stem. Going to be a beautiful hull with good durability.
